Intruder

It is Friday so I met up with Cosmo and we went out for a walk together in the woods. Just as I was taking this photograph it started to rain, we were probably as far from any shelter at this point in our walk as it was possible to get. Although it was not a very heavy shower we both got quite wet. Cosmo did not seem too bothered, though she did give herself a shake from time to time.

Just as I was taking the photograph I thought I saw some movement as I looked through the viewfinder. Sure enough a bee has popped in to have a look at the flowers. It left as quickly as it arrived, either put off by my presence, or else not very impressed by whatever was on offer. The shutter speed I was using was not fast enough to freeze the movement of the bee unfortunately.

When we got back it was time for me to have a refreshing coffee and a pastry. Cosmo seemed quite concerned she was not getting anything to eat (see extra). When I had finished my pastry I gave her a Waitrose deli dog sausage which she took away happily to eat in comfort. The sausages are small so it does not take Cosmo long to eat one.
