Scottish summer night sky

This was taken at 11pm on Iona, on the way back to the "Mac" from the pub.

The Iona Community MacLeod "Mac" centre provides great accommodation in shared dorms, plentiful food in a big dining room, and opportunities for community living through shared chores and activities - and purposely doesn't have any access to the internet for guests.
Other establishments on the island do, so after evening prayers, we would head to the pub for beer/ whiskey and a chance to check emails etc. However, it was so weak and flaky that I couldn't even open blipfoto. - which was a terrible situation.

This summer, the 50 year old Mac will be significantly renovated and I suspect that the days of the 7 bed dormitories will end. If you want to help them with the work, the Iona Community would love your donation.
