Quiet morning relishing no school run on day 1! C spent all morning building his brand new Lego storm trooper - one of his presents from the party. It was quite involved with lots of little pieces but he managed it and then carried it around all day, taking it to bed later!

After lunch we headed to town to meet Jack and Jo our friends and had a great old run around the big park. There were lots of people out and about that we knew which was nice.

Afterwards we had a v sticky, chocolates treat in Gelato Joe's ice cream place yum! Quadruple chocolate crepe for me which ended up smeared all over me and Rosie!!

Home for tea and bedtime for an excited birthday boy. Last day of being 5 for my best boy. Xxx
