Grumpy Old Goat
This is Zamba-Poppy, our pet goat. In fact she is more like the lawn mower around our cowshed. You might well ask how she got her hyphenated name; Son T wanted to call her Poppy, while son C wanted to call her Zamba - so to keep the peace, we decided to call her Zamba-Poppy. A very sophisticated name for a goat.
Today I decided it was the day that Zamba-Poppy appeared on blip. She obviously didn't appreciate her picture being taken - so she poked her tongue out at me! How rude!
Now - you may think that we have a lot of animals on the farm that like to poke their tongues out. I have to say, you are so right. We train them to do this! No, seriously, I take lots and lots of pictures of the animals, and it is just fortunate that one of these happens to include a tongue poking out.
We had a glorious day today, in fact Murchison was mentioned on the TV One news tonight as having the high for New Zealand - 18 degrees C, and it was just lovely.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
