Executive lunch
The suburb of Saffron Park lay on the sunset side of London, as red and ragged as a cloud of sunset.
The day starts with a scenic outing to South Gyle. Angus is joining the QA apprentice cohort. It takes ages - Gaspar and I sit in the canteen huddled around a laptop.
Angus is quite chipper when he gets out and next on the agenda is a trip to Dalkeith Road to see a flat for rent. Of course, we need sustenance first, so we head to the Salisbury. Nice.
The flat is fairly standard Edinburgh tenement. The lounge has been turned into a bedroom, but there's a box room that could fit a bed, so there's the opportunity of getting the lounge back. They decide to take it - 12 months from September 14th. The exodus continues.
Angus stays in town with Ferdi and Jamie. Gaspar and I finish off a chapter and then get drunk. Good times.
