Thunderhead

As I drove up the hill to my house, I could hear a storm rolling in.  Ahead of me, over the desert (extra), I saw clouds which resembled smoke blowing in from the left.  I stopped my car in the middle of the street and took the picture with my phone.  When I turned to get back into the car, I saw this (blip) amazing thunderhead looming over the mountains. Invariably, when I turn down my road on afternoons like this, one or more of my neighbors are standing in their driveway looking up at the sky. That's the thing about this time of year.  It's hard to take your eyes off  of the ever changing clouds, whether driving down the highway or standing in the stillness before the storm.
