River Stories

The guest speaker at the library today was a fellow who told interesting tales from the history of the local rivers.  In the picture he is portraying Mike Fink, King of The River.  I had always believed that Mike was fictional but there are records that document most of his life.  Of course, the tall tales parts are only conveyed to us in the oral tradition.
