Diary of an Edinburgher

Lucky dog!

Our two hairy biker visitors arrived about 7.30 last night, having travelled from John o'Groats! We took Archie out to meet them on the street, thereby circumventing his guard duty at his house, which he takes very seriously. That worked - he trotted in with them without a peep.

Two lovely sparkling motor bikes (Harleys!) we were invited to sit on them. JR wouldn't, I couldn't, but Archie was keen was plonked unceremoniously on the nearest bike. Check out yesterday's late extra.

Kerri and Luke came to take Archie out, so we both went to the gym, but I didn't spot any rogue sweaty drippers. Just after they brought him back, Elizabeth arrived. Archie could not believe his luck! TWO big walks in one day! (Photo by Elizabeth).

JR went out shopping, which left me to do my sofa exercises and watch Wimbledon, which, as often happens, wasn't the great battle we hoped for. The mixed doubles afterwards was entertaining, with a guaranteed British winner. Well done Rog!

But I'm always sad to see Wimbledon finish. No more excuses for sitting on the sofa for hours on end...
