Glendalough

We left Dublin this morning and drove through Wicklow to Glendalough.  What a beautiful spot!  We had a good walk up to the lake there, and then up to a waterfall, too.  I took far too many photos of the (100ft high) tower here - just in awe that it has stood for a thousand years, still totally in tact!

Drove on to Kilkenny afterwards and checked into our hotel.  We were both exhausted and it started chucking it down with rain, so we decided to eat in the hotel.  Had a nice meal, then a couple of drinks at the bar, and then retired to our room :)
