Thriving on Neglect
Poor Clematis Etoile Violette has one of the worst positions in the garden. It's on the back of TM's workshop, faces north about six feet from a huge beech hedge. TM passes it to get to the man cave, but no-one else goes that way and I usually forget to prune it.
This year I remembered and it has thanked me by producing a wonderful flush of flower. So, in the absence of anything else, since it has rained most of the day, it gets to be today's picture.
