Colour on a grey day (Day 800)

I was lucky and managed to get up the hill with the dogs before the rain arrived this morning. The clouds rolled in shortly after I got home and it wasn't long before the rain started.
I got on with a bit of paperwork, then the design for a carving whilst my beautiful wife went and did hossing things. Later I helped Mum move the backing for a big flower arrangement into the hall where the display will be for the week.
HV and I had a really wet walk along the shore at Stromness in the heavy rain, and there was little point in taking the camera out of the bag.
Back at home I thought a macro of the blooming cactus would do for a blip today.
