Roseate Spoonbills
More backblips from our US trip.
Almost half of Sanibel Island is given over to the J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge which is full of beautiful birds. I was thrilled to see these Roseate Spoonbills in the distance, just landing on the water.
In extras you can see a shot of the Refuge, plus photos of a very stylish Snowy Egret with its beautiful black legs and yellow feet and a Great White Heron. Both these were shots taken from a look out point just above a little creek which was really close to the birds who were busy catching little fish.
