A foray into Bracondale wood during my lunch-break today proved fruitful. I loved the way this little pale peach fungus has sprung from the side of this log, then headed upwards. It reminds me of a fan ....
There are tiny deep orange babies emerging next to it, so I'll keep a check on them over the coming week or so.

A good sign after my last 3 "I'd rather forget them" days - today was payday and, as I always do on payday whilst stopping at the supermarket for some supplies on the way home, I treated myself to a scratchcard - and won £10! Not a fortune I know, but still a welcome bonus.
