Out for dinner

Fairly mundane day, not much happening. Out for dinner though with former fellow student and then colleague. Lovely to catch up, but late home and not much done on the chore front. G pigs particularly upset at their late food offering.

Appalled by story about two police officers being shot in cold blood. I have huge respect for our uniformed services and, as a former nurse, appreciate the oftentimes thankless and challenging job that they do.
