Outside the door

The hall lights in my building are stuck again. On that is. This happens every few months - I wake in the middle of the night and see a gleam underneath the door. It's curiously unsettling. Those lights will now burn 24 hours a day until most of the bulbs have burn out or the building manager comes to fix the glitch, whichever comes first...
