The garden enjoyed a good soaking throughout most of yesterday and into the early hours today. Here's a droplet-bedecked Valerian.

It was sad watching the painful efforts of Andy Murray, struggling on with a sore hip. Photos later showing him 'walking' to the car that drove him away showed he found difficulty walking at all. Shortly after Andy's loss, Djokovic retired from his match with a damaged shoulder/upper arm. The oldest top player of them all, Federer, sailed through his match with elegance and apparent ease.
