Bees Don't Need Football

I walked around the town centre today. There was an atmosphere of deflation after England's exit from the World Cup, understandably.

Wildlife is not bothered by such things. So long as the sun shone and the flowers gave sustenance, the bees and butterflies in my garden were content.

I have three buddleias; dark purple, mauve and white. This is the first year that the white one has properly bloomed. It's a favourite with the bees (and with me).
