Pastis o'clock

Every summer Lin Kong returned to Goose Village to divorce his wife, Shuyu.

The elders (including Megan) head into La Spezia. We go to the daily market and buy yoghurt, cheese, nuts, beans and diverse other vittles. Then we lunch at Osteria Della Inferno. I drink white wine and munch carpaccio de pesca.

Ferdi and Angus (well mainly Ferdi) marinade chicken and barbecue sausages. I make tomato mozzarella salad. Mandy serves up pastis and later we run out of wine and beer while laughing at Piers Brosnan in an embarrassment of 007.
