More history from the family archives.  This was inside a letter from a brother to a sister, written while he was fighting in the American Civil war.  I have a stack of these letters, which make fascinating reading.  This note is printed on very thin tissue paper.

Brunswick County is in Virginia.  He enlisted in NY state. I saw a note like this for sale online for $75.
