Boiler

We paid a visit to Prestongrange Industrial Museum for some photos for this week's challenge 'INDUSTRIAL'.  There is lots to photograph!  This is one end of a massive boiler (see extra).  Even for something as mundane as this, care was taken to make it look good!  One of the holes is clearly now an entrance for a wasp nest. 

The area was a hive of industry, boasting an enormous brick kiln, beehive kilns, a beam engine, a pithead, glassworks...etc  Worth a visit if you're interested in that sort of thing.  You can just walk around it all, no entrance fee.
