After the Sun Rose

Something quite strange happened this morning ... The Sun actually beat me up ... (as in, it rose before I got up, it didn't literally "beat me up", it wasn't quite that strange) ...

My alarm woke up at about 4 AM as usual, but I stuck it on "snooze" ... Ten minutes later, it woke me up again and put it on "snooze" again ... Then after another ten minutes, the same thing happened ... And after another ten minutes ... etc ... etc ...

Suddenly, I sort of realised what I was doing ... I was pressing the "snooze" button, without bothering to wake up ... I opened my eyes and noticed that it was actually daylight ... and when my eyes eventually focused in on the time, it was 5:30 AM ... (about 15 minutes after sunrise) ...

Needless to say, panic set in ... I by-passed coffee, grabbed my camera and set off in a rush ... I'd missed the sun rising, but if I was quick, I might at least still be able to catch it before it got too strong ...

So this is my Sunday Morning "Post Sunrise" capture ... taken at the ridiculously late hour of 6 AM (give or take) ... :o)
