M70's on Tour

This is Brian and husband Richard preparing for their last day in the forest. They have kept us entertained through the week and today was no exception. As we drove to the event they were giving a commentary on their performances. This was done in a similar accent to that of the commentator for the World Championships. Needless to say Jill and I found it very funny.

Following the run we had a long drive back to Riga. Driving in Estonia has been relatively straightforward. Although a little disconcerting as not all their roads are metalled. Just need to get back into driving on the left and a manual gear box.

A good group to be with, lots of banter and laughter. The Orienteering has been challenging and interesting to see how the worlds elite coped with the terrain. We have also enjoyed visiting Estonia with a short stay in Riga.

Now to tackle UK terrain with the Scottish 6 days in Scotland at the beginning of August.
