Fireman Pat

I spent hours out in the garden doing more chopping and.....I have finally reached the wall at the end of the garden....yahooo! I am absolutely scratched to buggery, but it looks darn good so far.

I rewarded my efforts with a slouch in the sunshine before picking Pat up so that we could go on a little jaunt to the fire station. There was an open day and Pat and I are quite partial to a fireman or two.

You could go up in their snorkel and I persuaded Pat to join the queue to have a ride. There were a few families ahead of us with excited children and when it came to our turn the rather dishy firemen looked at us and said, "So have you got children with you?" We laughed, "No children, we just wanted a lovely firman to slip that harness on us." "I'll dress you in it and undress you when you get down again.".....ooh errr missus, we had big cheesy grins.

He fastened us into the harness, the snorkel came down, we were ready....then there came a blinkin' 999 call and the firemen had to zoom off to whatever calamity had occurred and we were left all harnessed up and nowhere to go...bugger!

Oh well, we had a consolation 99 ice cream, maybe it should have been a 999 ice cream, then we went home. I wonder if I should email the station and request a private session.

The last time I visited the fire station I had to have some handcuffs cut off my wrist.....it always happens to me, sigh.
