Blue tit

Volunteering today. Three of us cleared the Himalayan Balsam that were encroaching on the path by the side of the Barr loch.

Seven Whooper swans were seen flying over the reserve yesterday - migration is here. Heard a blackcap calling but could not see it. Had to choose from a blue tit, a male chaffinch eating a peanut and a magpie perched on a tree stump - chose the blue tit.
