Away for the weekend to meet my folks in Northumberland. Staying in Seahouses which is just down the road from the magnificent Bamburgh Beach. After some paddling and rock-pooling on arrival it was the obligatory first night fish and chips followed by a wander around the town, including a visit to the Tardis-like Farne Gift Shop that sells everything you could ever need alongside an almost infinite amount of stuff that you will never find a use for. No matter how long you lived.
