A long and busy but pretty bloody brilliant all round day to be honest.

A morning around the house (which included giving the car it's annual clean - inside and out - God, I felt like A Proper Man afterwards I can tell you...) and then off down to Warkworth Castle for a look round. Everyone enjoyed it, almost as much as the amazing ice creams at some Italian cafe in Amble. Wow!

Bit of beach action at Amble and then up to Low Newton-By-The-Sea for a teatime pint at the pub overlooking the beach, before a sunset paddle and stroll along aforementioned beach with views of Dunstanburgh Castle. Right nice.

Back home feeling pretty knackered for a chilled-out evening accompanied by another of the handful of holiday CDs.
