Who's that knockIng on my window

All week I've been troubled.

On Monday when I came back to work, I visited the Conker tree across from my window... the conkers are already formed - is amazing.

Anyhoo i digress when I got back to my desk I glanced over to the tree and in the midst of stillness one leaf was waving to me .

Yes, waving.

I sat and watched for a while. No
Other leaves were moving. This one leaf was back and forth just like a hand mmmm

When I left it was still waving

On Wednesday. When I was leaving it did the same.

Today I spotted it waving when I came back to the office at lunchtime

I watched it again later in the afternoon. No other tree movement, no wind... nothing

I shouted c over. - look over there what do you see?

'Arghhh leaf waving to us'

Don't know. Not going near it.

J exits office, marches over to tree. Stands. Looks, goes closer.... looks into trees.

Looks over. Leans in. Breaks leaf. Comes back to office .


Yay. We say.

And glance over to tree.

Bloody bent leaf is still waving at cack handed angle!

What the heck is going on ?
