They were many...
We met them when we crossed the Oslo fjord today. A flotilla of German warships. Half an hour later they would pass above the warship cruiser Blücher that led a nazi flotilla towards Oslo 1940. Blücher was torpedoed and sunk with some 1500 German navy men, outside the fortress Oscarsborg. Blücher is still there at the bottom of the sea. I would guess the German navy men might have their kind of ceremony to honour their dead fellow sailors who were killed on duty in another world, at their same age, when passing above the old nazi cruiser Blücher today.
