Championship ball cap

When Kalyn's volleyball club team won the U17 National Championship, each player and coach was given a ball cap.  Imagine G's surprise when this arrived in his Father's Day gift box back in June!  Kalyn's coach had told her to give his cap to her Gramps because he's such an enthusiastic fan.  I perched it on a very old volleyball that we still have hanging around.  We used to play volleyball outside with it when the girls visited when they were younger and the ball was in better shape.  We could take some credit for Kalyn's volleyball skills, I reckon!  (Ha!)  Maybe I'll get her to sign this old ball.
She's on her way to Kelowna today for a 2 week training session with the provincial team, or I'd have asked her to come over and model it for "Hat".  Might do another shot with G modelling it.  He told Kalyn the other day that his golf game sucks just now, and she told him that it might improve if he wore this hat while playing.  Cheeky - but he'll likely take her advice!
