Ripening

I've actually eaten a cherry this year!  

Last night, while I was tutoring, I spotted a young blackbird out of the window tucking into my cherries.  But, not the ones I've bagged for me.  They're nicely protected in their organza wedding favour bags away from birds and bugs.  

So, last night, I tried one.  Today I'm photographing the evidence of success!
