Horse at Hillwell

A glorious day of sunshine.  A bit of cloud passed through the morning, but mostly blue skies all afternoon and evening.

A change of scenery today, I've been working in the croft house museum.  It was a steady start to the day, with various visitors.  I also got out in the sunshine, by spending my free time tidying and pruning the garden.  Lunchtime I popped by my brother's.  He was at work, but Ruth and Lena were home.  After work, I went off on the boat to Oxna with friends and friends up from south.  Plenty of walkies in the sunshine too.  Off to work in the pub later.

I took a detour to Jonny's at lunchtime, a fine day for it.  There's lot of farming in the south mainland of Shetland, very fertile and green, and plenty of horses too.  This stunning horse was too busy to talk, and enjoying a meal in the sunshine.  Taken at Hillwell, Dunrossness, looking to Ringasta.
