STRAND SCENE

A remarkable day and very pleasant.
Some time ago while we were still in Germany, Piet Hein spoke with our friend Cor on the phone. We had not met him since two years ago and it was obvious that we longed to see each other again. And we were glad that he came today to The Hague, early in the morning.
So much to talk about! We sat on the balcony, the weather beautiful.
And we took with us some sandwiches and water and walked to the beach.
Walked along the shore till we found a nice place for our picnic and a swim (Piet Hein and I at least). Doozed away too. Walked back to our apartment, had tea. I cycled to Mischa's place to see cat Jet, comfort her with some food and strokes on her head.
When I came back, I did some shopping and Piet Hein prepaired a delicious pizza.  Cor has left now for Amsterdam, but we are sure we will
leave not so much time between a next visit.
The scene shows a man who gathers some items to bring them in safety as the water comes in swiftly. The woman thinks he hastens too much for the occasion.

I feel tired and will probably catch up tomorrow again.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments on cat Jet, stars and hearts.
