Breakfast with the Cardinal family

This morning the Cardinal parents brought not one, but two almost-grown babies to breakfast! The problem child wouldn't come to the feeder...he preferred to stay on my deck, so I left him out of the portrait.

I was really thrilled to get the three of them together, since it was barely light out and they are extremely skittish. Apologies for the high ISO, but I love the content of the photo!!

I'm off now for a busy day, brunch with my friend Ellen, then pick up Sanibel for the afternoon and see what adventures we can have together!
