Dougie...

Woke up to the news that a friend through in Glasgow passed away suddenly yesterday.

We weren't close, but I always enjoyed his company. He always had a smile and a joke and usually had his guitar in hand.

I last saw him in May when we headed through for part of the Southside Fringe festival. His band were playing. The kids loved it. I loved catching up with him.

What breaks my heart more than anything is the pain and sadness many of my Glasgow friends are going through.

So, today's blip is for Dougie and those he left behind. Xxx
