Perspective

Is everything.

A day lily, almost on fire, backlit against a shady background.  Looked at from another angle, the effect is quite different.  Like life I suppose.

Another quiet day at home, Jamie tired again but has crocheted a pair of wrist warmers / fingerless gloves - just the thing for a warm summer's day!!  A bit of gardening, potting on seedlings and taking cuttings, a bit of Tour de France and now, I am sitting on a bench by the back door, enjoying a cup of tea in the late sunshine .... and a good book awaits.
