Pimms and nibbles....

...to start the evening. How civilised....

We were invited to friends to quietly celebrate a birthday. Her son had taken her and  her husband out to Nymans Gardens for lunch so a small take away was all that was required for dinner which suited us perfectly. Only there was far more than we could manage...as always.

A wonderful surprise of an old friend there too. Over from the Isle of Wight with her daughter for a big operation for her daughter....which has been a wonderful success and she will be homeward bound sooner than expected.

This morning we briefly joined friends at a car show. We went in the Riley but I had an eye for the MG models on the left belonging to said friends. My extra....
