Skelington (Day 786)

I got up a little later than normal this morning, and was soon being herded out the door by two impatient dogs. The wander up the hill was uneventful.
Back home, and after coffee, I spent a while in the shed marking up and drilling holes in the house sign I carved a little while ago. I was expecting it to be pretty hard going, but with plenty of water to cool the drill, it all went ok.
After lunch my beautiful wife and I took the dogs to the beach at Evie. Months ago a pilot whale was washed up on the beach. It has slowly disintegrated and all that is left of it is part of its spine and some rib bones. We were surprised today to find it in a totally different part of the beach.
We returned home and I got the house sign on the wall (see extra) before dropping HV at her work and going off to do a bathroom quote.
