Gwenn-ha-du

We were back in Pornic today. Another fantastically hot day. I took lots of fun pictures today with my SLR but just on the way out spotted this flag flying, just perfectly in the wind and grabbed it with my compact camera. Technically we're not in modern day Brittany but everyone there still considers Loire-Atlantique to still be in Brittany and so do I. The flag had faded a bit so while it's name literately means white and black in English, it was actually brown and white - which the back lighting added to. I've tried to put it right in GIMP, but it's still a little off.

Today while having a very nice ice cream two members of the gendarmerie came along and gave out parking tickets to two sets of morons who though they could park where the wanted. Nice to see idiots actually getting a ticket for something eventually.

Today is also our last day with family, we're driving back to Saint Malo in the morning... and then back to Blighty...
