Trip to London

A trip to London for a rather serious meeting was lightened by combining it with an evening meal with Z.  Here drinking a cocktail at The Grain Store called "Wild Nettle Collins", nettle gin with nettle lemonade - though quite frankly it tasted mostly of lemonade.  I had a rather nice rhubarb, rose petal and prosecco combination.

Earlier in the day I had walked from Liverpool Street station down to Temple for the meeting.  I stopped en route to gaup as a large helicopter flew over and hovered (1st extra).  Given the number of locals gazing upwards, I have to assume this is not an everyday occurence.

And after the meeting, I had a look round the Temple church, before walking back up to Kings Cross station, to meet Z.

After enjoying the cocktail, we moved on and had a lovely meal in Dishoom, Kings Cross.  Excellent service, great food, served in a very interesting restaurant.
