Eyed hawkmoth

This was new to our garden list this morning, in spite of the unseasonal weather. The larvae feed on various trees so it presumably hatched and grew up here.
We visited Maria this afternoon, took Pepper for a walk around Dean Clough Reservoir and then for a great curry at Shajan! Where we met up with Gilly and Graham.
A good start to the weekend.
