My Great Auntie Floss

Thank you to Richard who took us to Tesco early this morning where we then had breakfast in Giraffe before catching the bus to the airport.
We saw Ashlene and her family while we were there so it was nice to have a catch up.
We had a good flight, no bird strikes !, but it took us ages to get the car from the hire place so we were tight on time to get to my Great Aunties for 3 o clock but we made it once we had found somewhere to park.
It was lovely to see her again and she looked really and at 96 is still very independent and enjoying her little trips out. We stayed for about an hour and then headed back through the traffic to Luton where we visited my friends Sally and Tony. Lots of chat and laughter again finished a lovely afternoon.
We've just had dinner in an old English pub. I have nt been in one for years , it had a good atmosphere but loud with lots of people talking all at once, we lead a quiet life so have noticed the increase in the volume of noise.
The sky looked really stormy and we've just had a very heavy downpour of rain.
