Those were the daisies...

After a holiday in France in 1982 I became entranced by the Dordogne's fields of poppies and daisies and abandoned my watercolour landscape ambitions for hedgerows.  Greatly influenced by the style of Cumbrian artist Judy Boyes and Newcastle watercolorist Edwin Straker,  I set out on my mission.

This is one of the better bits of artwork from the hundreds I found today when clearing the loft.
