Atmospheric Noudar

Took R&A to one of our favourite Aletejano castles - the Moorish Noudar - it's perched on a rocky outcrop between the Ardila (which is the border with Spain) and the Múrtega rivers, within a 1000 ha nature park. We love the peacefulness and isolation of the site, and the views on all sides. And today, the visitor centre was open, manned by a friendly lad with a ring through his lip; the usual old man is on holiday.

The weather is weird, positively cold tonight in Mourão.
