...poppies.
Another wet day. No-one came for the health walk so the other volunteer and I had a blether and I then went to help at the very busy café. We take a break over the school summer holidays and as today was the end of term we finished for a few weeks - and offered meringues, strawberries and cream as a special.
We had 2 grandsons today and they decided we would go for a walk in the rain tis afternoon, though it had about stopped by the time we were out (and is now brightening up).
The poppies were on our way, looking pretty in the rain.
Away tomorrow for a couple of days so will report back on Sunday.
