So so storm

After a quick taster march around Florence with P and A, shopping at San Ambrogio and a pizza at San Domenico we got down to a bit of 'waiting for the storm'. At one point over four centimetres of rain were being predicted for this parched, scorched  and water-emergency bound part of Tuscany.

When it did come it was short and growly and for a while it rained hard. But not enough.

However, the cool air flowing in behind the frontal system from the low pressure area to the north has been such a relief. The bedrooms are no longer like slow ovens. We even talked about getting the duvet back out (for a while).
