Day 15 - Moo
Roofers recovering from the 'Day of Work'.
Top left: Kindly left the building site free for the building material company - BayWa- to deliver the next load of insulation blocks.
BayWa are a large Munich based company, operating in many continental European countries and best known for their agricultural businesses which include being the sole representative for Fendt tractors in Germany. However they are also very strong in building materials and energy sectors.
Bottom left: Outside the BayWa, very small, unit in Ottobeuren with a new Fendt 720 Vario hitched up with a Pöttinger Jumbo 6610 combiline silage loader trailer. Pöttinger is a major grass equipment manufacturer from Austria.
Right: The back view of the trailer.
The wording at the top of the rear of the trailer is not added by me - it is original. Again note that although BayWa don't operate in the UK nor any English speaking country, they have their corporate webpage available in English. Pöttinger does have a UK (Northamptonshire) based business and so have English language pages but even their corporate page is also available in English.
While Junkers remarks about English no longer being required in the EU after 2019 was no more than leg-pulling, the truth is that no country apart from the UK officially has English registered as an official language. Ireland has Gaelic.
Wonder home many UK companies who do business on the EU continent, offer some of their websites in another EU language?
PS (Thinking about the general use of the English language in much of the advertising in continental Europe, have to be fair, the Brits have had to put up with "Vorsprung durch Technik" from Audi for a few years.
