Alistair "in flight"
Today is the first Wednesday that I've been able to walk for weeks. It was my turn to lead the walk and the forecast was for rain all day.
Only 10 of us braved the weather, to be rewarded by a completely dry day. It was rather grey and the views were not fantastic, but we enjoyed some lovely hay meadows and lush vegetation. We did have a stream to cross. Alistair went for the dashing leaping mode, while the rest of us stepped from stone to stone!
We did 10.5 miles. Two of the group have had a knee replacement. Marie's was done less than 3 months ago and she managed the whole walk. Maureen had hers done a few years ago, so we hardly remember that she has an artificial joint.
I enjoyed a hot bath on my return home. Arth and Aggie seem to have fared well too.
