From my FB post today...
Reasons why I love Turks contd.... So, at the end of the day, my road side parked tank of a hired car is boxed in front and back by other cars. I can't get out. Or at least, I'm too nervous to try. So, I go back to beach bar/ restaurant and explain and ask for help. Nice waiter happily takes the keys and drives the car out of the space ... and then - best of all - with absolutely no sarcasm or sexist comment from him, as would happen in the UK (even supposing that someone was willing to help),  he just said "bir şey değil" (you're welcome) when I thanked him. xxxx
