Rebuilding

As usual, a busy day. We enjoyed a visit to friends Sue and Roy in Great Braxted for coffee and buns in the morning. It was lovely to sit and chat in their pretty garden, which backs onto a field full of wheat. It reminded us of when we lived in a Georgian former farmhouse in Wickford, which also had huge fields adjoining our two-and-a-half acre grounds. Sadly we don't have anything as grand as that now, though Mum's bungalow is a sweet little home.

Weekly Sainsbury's shop after lunch, then home to cook the dinner, wash up and water/deadhead/tidy the garden. Another rose image for today, they are rather lovely just now.
