Tea duty at St Luke's meant getting there half an hour early to set everything out and, most importantly, switch the water urn on so that it's hot enough by the end of the service. There would probably be a riot if we couldn't make the teas and coffees after all the singing! Mum did really well with standing for all the hymns etc this time, though she's unable to kneel for Communion any more.
Here's the garden at Tiptree from a different angle - viewed from beneath the rose and jasmine-laden archway. Everything looks lovely at the moment, which is amazing due to my lack of anything other than very basic attention at the moment. I try to enjoy it as it is, but usually see the many things that need doing (all the garden furniture could do with sprucing up/repainting/repairing).
